The Story Behind Radiación Solar
After several months without releasing new music, Radiación Solar became the project that brought me back to creating. The title came from a simple idea: sunlight gives us energy. Every morning, whether we notice it or not, those rays remind us that a new day has started and that we have another opportunity to move forward.
Musically, I continued exploring the indie sound that had become increasingly important in Becker Bot Music. Dreamy guitars, atmospheric textures, introspective lyrics, and melodies designed to feel both emotional and hopeful became the foundation of this project. Rather than focusing on heartbreak or conflict, Radiación Solar became an album about resilience, growth, and learning how to keep going after difficult seasons.
Many of the songs revolve around the same central idea: life leaves scars, mistakes, and unfinished chapters, but those experiences do not have to define us forever. Sometimes growth comes from accepting what happened, learning from it, and continuing down the road without carrying unnecessary weight.
The image of the sun appears throughout the project as a symbol of renewal. Storms come and go, doubts appear, people leave, plans change, but eventually the clouds open again. The album is about finding the strength to keep walking when that light finally returns.
Another important part of Radiación Solar is the balance between reality and possibility. While some songs are rooted in personal experiences, others explore emotions that have not happened yet. One example is the idea behind Te Escojo. The song is not about a specific person. Instead, it reflects the hope that somewhere in the future there may be someone worth choosing, someone who represents everything beautiful, unexpected, and genuine that life can still bring. Sometimes music allows us to write about memories, and sometimes it allows us to write about hope.
More than anything, Radiación Solar is a reminder that healing is rarely dramatic. Often it happens quietly, one day at a time. One step forward. One lesson learned. One sunrise after another.
Because no matter how many storms we face, the sun always finds a way back through the clouds. And when it does, we get another chance to begin again.
